On December 6, in Kyiv, MDI gathered representatives of 20 housing management companies of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast at the seminar "Managing an apartment block: legislative requirements and practical steps".

Seminar participants discussed:

• changes in current legislation on housing and communal services;
• agreements between a housing manager and apartment block owners;
• Law of Ukraine "On Commercial Metering of Heat Energy and Water Supply";
• metering and consumption-based billing;
• organizing operations of a housing management company;
• financial and economic issues about housing management;
• analysis of the decree on writing apartment blocks off balance (Decree 301 dated of April 20, 2016);
• inspections by State Committee on Labour: preparing for the inspection and important things about inspections.
