On May 7, 2019 in Kyiv, the Limited Liability Company “Municipal Development Institute” (MDI LTD) delivered a consultancy seminar on tariff formation and setting in DH according to novelties in legislation.
The seminar covered the following
- latest novelties and draft laws in DH, as well as key changes entailed by the Law of Ukraine “On housing and Communal Services”, entering into force
- key provisions of the new Procedure for tariff formation of OSA/KCSA licensees
- aspects of one-/two-tier tariff formation for TE and hot water supply
- Procedure for local self-governments on assessment and approval of tariff calculations for TE generation, transport and supply, as well as communal services, submitted by subordinate utilities
- key provisions of the Procedure for tariff setting for TE and hot water supply (incl. consumer information on future price/tariff change for communal services with due substantiations)
The representatives of more than 40 DH utilities and local self-governments attended the seminar. They got their numerous questions answered and had an opportunity to exchange lessons learns and tips on operational activity under novelties in legislation.
