MDI LTD continues to deliver series of seminars for communal utilities.

Recently we have organized two seminars on newly adopted legislation for DH utilities. On May 29, 2019 in Kyiv, MDI experts delivered a consultancy seminar for WSS utilities on tariff formation and setting in WSS according to novelties in legislation.

At the seminar, we covered the following:

• recent amendments and draft secondary legislation on WSS and housing and communal services
• key changes entailed by the Law of Ukraine “On Housing and Communal Services”, entering into force
• key provisions of the new Procedure for tariff formation of OSA/KCSA licensees (main changes, general provisions and requirements to tariff formation, Annual Plan drafting, requirements to operational cost calculation, projected profit to be incorporated into WSS tariffs).
• aspects of tariff formation in WSS and cost recovery for licensees

• Procedure for local self-governments on assessment of tariff calculations for TE and hot water supply, including close assessment of calculation submission forms
• key provisions of the Procedure for tariff setting for WSS

The representatives of WSS utilities and local self-governments from 22 Ukrainian cities attended the seminar.
