With organizational support of Mariupol DH Company (later on – Mariupol DHC), on Dec 17, 2019 in Mariupol, Nataliia Aleksieieva and Aliona Nych, experts of the Limited Liability Company “Municipal Development Institute” (MDI, Ltd.) delivered a consultancy event on operational activity of DH utility companies according to novelties in legislation.

The event covered the following

  • latest novelties and draft by-laws in DH
  • features of the transition period in tariff formation and setting according to the new rules
  • key provisions of the new Procedure for tariff formation of OSA/KCSA licensees, approved by the CMU Decree No. 291 dd. 03.04.2019
  • aspects of one-/two-tier tariff formation for thermal energy (TE) and hot water supply. Projection of profit to be included into TE tariff
  • Recommendation on application of Minregion Decree No. 239 dd. 12.09.2018.

20+ specialists of DH utilities and representatives of the local self-governments from Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Mariupol and Pokrovsk attended the event. They got answers to their numerous questions and had an opportunity to exchange lessons learnt and tips on operational activity under novelties in legislation.

The representatives of Mariupol media also attended the event. They asked MDI experts to comment on the changes in housing and communal services provision, entailed by the legal novelties. Some news pieces are available by links here and here.

At the wrap-up, N.Magdalishyna, Deputy Director for financial and economic operations of Mariupol DHC, handed the Certificates of Merit to Nataliia Aleksieieva, Director of MDI, Ltd., and Aliona Nych, Director of the Price Setting and Financial Management Dept. with MDI, Ltd. for the delivery of the abovementioned consultancy event.
