On February 10, 2026, MDI LTD held a consultancy webinar on heat tariff adjustment.

Based on a survey of DH specialists, MDI compiled a training agenda. Overall, MDI received 49 questionnaires. The resolution of tariff adjustment issues is crucial with regard to current conditions of DH companies’ operation.

During the event MDI consultants covered the grounds for adjustment, controversial issues of adjustment mechanism, and the actual tariff adjustment procedure.

The financial specialists/economists of DH companies from 51 Ukrainian cities and LG representatives, authorized to set tariffs at the local level, attended the event.

The webinar offered a nice networking opportunity for the specialists of energy sector. The attendees managed to pinpoint issues which require changes to the effective legal framework to be solved. The participants actively posted in chat discussing the presented material. They suggested that MDI consultants prepare a brief overview of the controversial issues in tariff adjustment and submit it for the review of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine (MinDev), which is a National Regulation in housing and utilities.
