Role of MDI, Ltd.: subcontractor to Waste Infosystems LLC / RWA
Implementation period: April 2021 – May 2022
The project is aimed at elaboration of the Green City Action Plan for Mariupol (GCAP) and consultancy provision until its approval. This document is supposed to describe and prioritize the most crucial ecological challenges of the city via analyzing selected ecological indicators. It also will include a portfolio of strategic and investment measures for the sustainable municipal infrastructure to solve these issues.
MDI specialists take part in GCAP preparation with regard to the social, gender, and EE issues.
This includes the following:
- Participation in Stakeholder Engagement Plan preparation
- Analysis of the programme documents and policies in the respective spheres
- Data collection and processing in the focus areas as per the pre-defined indicators
- Participation in challenges prioritization
- Participation in preparation of the strategic and investment measures under GCAP
- Participation in the project events
- Preparation of the training materials and delivery of trainings to build SH capacity on specific issues (e.g., EE in residential buildings and industry)
- Participation in preparation of the interim and final reports, holding discussion with the SH, presentation of findings, and monitoring activities
